During Autumn/Winter you can have a break and come and enjoy the aroma of a live peat fire. You can also sample fresh spring water from an original well, this is the ideal drink to refresh you and can also be enjoyed in drinks as ice cubes.

A short walk from the Wil-mer Lodge will bring you to Carrybridge Hotel and Marina, which will be of interest to coarse fishermen, were some of the best pegs with heavy weights are available. During your stay you can also relax and unwind with a cruise of the lakes on board the family's cruiser (Pochard). Mervyn Mulligan will arrange either a 1/2-day or a whole day skippered charter to Belleek Pottery or the National Trust's Crom Castle. There is no doubt that one of the best ways to appreciate the fantastic mountain views and the breathtaking lakes.

Boa Island, Tully Castle, Crom Castle, Devenish Island and Belleek Pottery can be visited either by car or on the Pochard the family’s cruiser.

A short walk from the lodge up the hill and to the field adjacent you can go back in time by visiting the ringed fort on route you can find one of the last original milestones. This has just recently been remounted after lying hidden since the Second World War. (These were deliberately buried so German soldiers would not know their whereabouts.)
